Rules for using Afritalk and our website.
Last updated: April 4, 2026
By accessing or using Afritalk’s services (“the Service”) or afritalk.app (the “Site”), you agree to these Terms. If you use the Service on behalf of a company, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Afritalk provides live chat, inbox, and related features as described on the Site. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Service with reasonable notice where practicable.
You are responsible for safeguarding login credentials and for activity under your account. Notify us promptly of unauthorized use. You must provide accurate registration information.
You agree not to misuse the Service. For example, you must not: violate law; send spam or malware; harass others; attempt to breach security; scrape or overload our systems without permission; or use the Service to collect data you are not allowed to process. You are responsible for your visitors’ experience and for complying with laws that apply to your use of chat (including privacy notices and consents where required).
As between you and Afritalk, you retain rights to content and data you or your visitors submit through the Service. You grant us a limited license to host, process, and display that data solely to provide and improve the Service as described in our Privacy Policy.
Paid plans are billed according to the pricing shown at checkout or in your account. Taxes may apply. Failure to pay may result in suspension. Unless stated otherwise, fees are non-refundable except as required by law.
Afritalk and its licensors own the Service, the Site, and our branding. These Terms do not grant you ownership of our intellectual property beyond the rights needed to use the Service.
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Afritalk and its suppliers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Our aggregate liability for claims arising out of these Terms or the Service is limited to the greater of amounts you paid us in the twelve months before the claim or fifty dollars (USD), except where liability cannot be limited by law.
You will defend and indemnify Afritalk against claims arising from your use of the Service, your content, or your violation of these Terms or law, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms or risk to the Service. Provisions that by nature should survive will survive termination.
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in your contract or, if none is specified, the laws of the jurisdiction where Afritalk operates its business, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts in that jurisdiction have exclusive venue, subject to mandatory consumer protections where they apply.
We may update these Terms. We will post the new version on this page and update the “Last updated” date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
